Be a mentor and motivate, inspire and help students develop critical study skills.”
Stepping into employment can be a daunting experience for some of our graduates. Mentors help mentees prepare for their future, exploring options, asking questions and helping to work out a path to achieving students’ dreams. Mentors motivate, inspire and help students develop critical study skills.
Business ambassadors
Our students lack exposure to the vast range of options available when they leave school. Business ambassadors provide our students with real experiences of their profession.
You might conduct skills training or activities. E.g. teamwork games, hackathons or debate exercises. This isn’t giving lectures. We want to help students think about the real situations that you experience daily. What does an engineer actually do? What really is marketing?
Workshops/talks
Does your company encourage a sustainable and eco-friendly lifestyle? Would you like to teach our children how to reuse/recycle? An interactive way to learn math or a lovely walk in the woods to understand our natural life and wildlife? Our children are waiting for you! From workshops to talks, short education trips to interactions – tell us how you can be a part of the change.
Skill sharing
A photographer? Graphic designer? Love telling stories? An artist? Volunteer your time!

Prayaas Day 2024: Delivering social impact through free prosthetic limb camp and summit on sustainable synergies.
Camp impacts lives of over 130 people with 26 beneficiaries being provided prosthetic limbs and 107 wheelchairs being distributed; summit includes panel discussions with corporate CSR Heads and NGOs, speaker session and keynote speech
19 February, 2024, Bengaluru: Prayaas, the social responsibility initiative of the students of IIM Bangalore’s one-year, full-time MBA for experienced professionals, the Executive Post Graduate Programme in Management (EPGP), along with Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (Jaipur Foot), conducted the ‘Free Prosthetic Limb Camp’ on 18th February 2024, at the IIM Bangalore campus, Bannerghatta Road, as part of Prayaas Day 2024.
The free prosthetic limb camp consisted of three types of prosthetic limb fitments – above-knee prosthetics, callipers and below-knee prosthetics. Arrangements such as casting the limb for every beneficiary, based on their measurements, were made during the camp.
The event was intended for people who cannot afford a prosthetic limb. Free custom prosthetics were provided. The cost of the prosthetics is completely borne by Bhagwan Mahaveer Viklang Sahayata Samiti (Jaipur Foot). Both screening and fitment were done on the same day of visit.
The camp has permanently transformed the lives of more than 130 people. A total of 26 beneficiaries were provided with prosthetic limbs and 107 wheelchairs were distributed to various beneficiaries on this occasion. The cost of a wheelchair is 10000 and a prosthetic limb 6000. A total of INR 12,26,000 worth of products were donated during the drive. The joy on the faces of the beneficiaries, after coming to know that their lives have changed in a better way forever, is the core aim of Prayaas which was achieved during the initiative.

What a tournament! This year's Parikrma Champions League was all about great football, with teams from across states making it to the semi-finals, exhibition girls' team matches, friendly match - CEOs vs Parikrma, and activities including art shows and games.
What was really special this year?
We had teams from diverse and remote parts of the country, such as the school from Assam, who played outside their state for the first time on the turf. This is a testament to our unwavering commitment to making sports inclusive, diverse, and equitable.
The winners of this year's Equality Cup and the Runner-up teams both have our alumni as their coaches. These success stories are a testament to our legacy as a nonprofit school.
We thank all our supporters for making this year's PCL a success!
