Children’s Cancer Cause awards academic scholarships to childhood cancer survivors who demonstrate a commitment to cancer advocacy. These survivors receive a financial scholarship to help with academic expenses and gain valuable cancer advocacy experience. Alumni of the Children’s Cancer Cause College Scholars Program have gone on to become medical students studying pediatric oncology, clinical trial researchers, and candidates for local public office.

In the early hours of February 6th, a 7.8 magnitude earthquake hit Türkiye (Turkey) and Syria. As the death toll continues to climb, Oxfam is working with partners to provide nearly 2 million survivors in the worst-affected areas with clean water, food, shelter, blankets, and psychological support.

We join the broader cancer community in supporting a FY 2024 spending bill that provides a $3.5 billion increase in funding for the NIH, for a total funding level of $51 billion.
